The Trigon did comfortably outshine the Scurrion (which is a 2007 model). My friend kept asking me to Turbo light various galleries to help wayfinding. JS
An 'interesting' trip in Cwmorthin last Sunday with no one using LED lighting. I'd forgotten how good your lights are and how I've come to depend on them. (Actually, it was even gloomier than I intended because the wire to the main bulb in my Oldham broke off the contact clip on the back of the reflector - so I did the majority of the trip on the pilot bulb (just like caving 30 years ago). DL Just to let you know that I am
getting on very nicely with the new lamp, its a delight not to have to lug
a lump of lead around with me. the usefulness of the
Magnumstar for photography can be seen (2 second exposure with no flash). I've
recently Bought myself a Trigon Lamp from Roy Fellows. 1170 lumens max
power. I am so happy with it that I thought it might be useful to anyone
looking for a new lamp if I put a post up on here. posted on darkplaces: (Trigon XML) "So, after my first mine adventure and a caving adventure with my new Fellows Ecostar, im loving it. Truly an amazing bit of kit. Love it so much im guna buy another Fellows lamp as soon as i start a new job..." Briggsy
I was totally blown away by your lamps Roy. I have
never seen anything like it underground, including a 730 Lumen led torch.
Even my mate Ben's silly diving lamp (£500 ish - HID 50w) was nothing in
comparison.
I have the ECO star xml from Royfellows have had it a while now and I love it very impressed mind you it did take me a while to figure the settings and which setting was what but I would recommend it anyday. Mad |
