The thoughts of Roy
'MAN MADE' CLIMATE CHANGE:
NEW: Read my summary of the scientific
facts here:
Climate Science Made
Simple
Roy's Diary of Deceit
This started as just a few comments but has now become an
ongoing blog.
I don't just intend to knock this completely unproven
crackpot theory down, but in true west midlands style, put the boot well and
truly in when it is down.
I have to apologise for going off the mining subject but in all honesty I
believe that "man made climate change" is not only the biggest load of pure tosh,
but the biggest con trick of all times. At the end of the day, its OUR money.
There are so many people on this bandwagon.
From 2007 diary
I was down Cornwall this Easter as usual, and visited yet again one of my
favourite places, Cot Valley, St Just. The seaward end, Porth Nanven, is a site
of special scientific interest. The cliffs her are of enormous geological
interest, and there is an interpretation board there for the benefit of
visitors.
"The effects of global warming and climate change stretching back for 120,000
years". Err isn't this something that we are supposed to have caused, with our
cars and all that?

There is a documentary that was shown on Channel 4 "The Great Global Warming
Swindle", which kind of took the lid off all this. Its interesting viewing.
If you save the above image to your hard drive you will be able to open it in
Windows and use the zoom to read what is says. The white mark is a footprint
where someone has tried to damage it, the actual truth that "man made climate
change" is a load of pure tosh causes some people to go hysterical.
As it appears we are living in interesting times, I am
starting a chronicle of events here that should make interesting reading.
Easter 2008
Its
gone! Smashed up! I wonder why?
Whoever
did it is wasting their time anyway as it will be the weather itself that has
the last word. We can all see where that's going, April this year saw the lowest
average temperature ever recorded in Cornwall. Spring holiday Monday was the
worst I have ever seen, I had a gortex outdoor coat on, the real McCoy, and I
was shivering. More and more people are now regarding the whole thing with
increasing scepticism, and there is jack that 'they' can do about it!
February 2009
After
the big January freeze up I am now like a prisoner in my own home with nearly a
foot of snow outside. The government seems to be unprepared for this, I wonder
why.
Maybe
listening to the 'carbon conmen' instead of real scientists.
Cant
the weather be politically incorrect?
Thursday July 2 2009
Hottest day since the end of 2006, remember, the last hot
summer we had?
OK, hottest day, just one single day in a so far at least,
cold summer. Just like the last 2.
However, the fellow traveller in the form of the ITV news
reporter was right on cue. "In Birmingham temperatures went into the 40s" he
gushed at the camera.
"Look, here is a thermometer", (no flies on this guy)
"Its reading 42 degrees centigrade" said he picking it up off
a pavement heated up by the sun enough to fry an egg. Should have filmed it
after that, but while it was still hot. Kind of gave the game away. Oh well,
maybe he isn't that sharp after all.
Isn't it easy to make facts fit a theory?
29th July 2009
The met Office issues a rethink on its predicted summer heat
wave, admits that:
"seasonal forecasting was still in its infancy - a
cross between climate change prediction and tomorrow's weather forecast. "
Not difficult to see where they are going wrong.
My comment posted to a BBC website:
The Met office are committed to propping up the theory
of anthropogenic climate change for which the general public has a growing
scepticism, understandable after the last cold summers and the hard winter we
had.
Climate warming is now in reversal, and there nothing
that the ‘pushers’ of this theory can do about it, except sit back and watch it
all collapse like a house of cards.
If you want real science, as apposed to politically correct
junk science, try this link, the website of Dr Piers Corbin "Weather Action"
acclaimed for the accuracy of its forecasting. Pity the Met Office didn't try
asking Dr Piers.
Here is a quote:
"Whatever may have seemed plausible 10 years ago
Global Warming is over and there is no evidence that CO2 ever was, is or will be
a driver of world temperatures or Climate Change - indeed evidence is the
relationship is more the other way around"
And here is the link:

December 2009
After a mild start the sub zero temperatures are now setting in a week before
Christmas with severe snow disruption in some parts of the country.
I am awaiting the outcome of the Copenhagen conference on climate change
Inconveniently timed, the Daily Express has run an article on "100 reasons why
climate change is natural", here is the link:
http://www.dailyexpress.co.uk/posts/view/146138
And another
http://www.dailyexpress.co.uk/posts/view/143573
To make matters worse, it appears that the Climatic Research Unit, University of
East Anglia who provide data to the Met Office have been cooking the
figures in order to prop the theory up in the face of mounting scepticism. It
appears from some leaked emails that the Hadley people have been
'cherry picking' their temperature figures. I bet they collected some good
Christmas Boxes for their efforts.
http://www.eastangliaemails.com/index.php
and here is the result:
December 12th 2009
"Next year could be the warmest year on
record, the Met Office said as officials at UN talks in Copenhagen continued
negotiations in a bid to secure a new deal to tackle climate change.
The forecast from climate scientists said
a combination of man-made global warming and a weather pattern - known as El
Nino - heating the Pacific Ocean would make it very likely that 2010 would be
warmer than 2009. "
Well that would not take much doing would it, but lets just wait and see what
happens, what they have said is on record now isn't it, and guess who's
website will be throwing this sh*t back in their faces!
I think that they are drinking at the chance saloon here.
I have just taken a look at website of the Mad Mullah of the
New Age Green Religion, George Monbiot, I use this label not as a personal
attack on this gentleman, but because I seriously question his sanity.
This is a link to his own website, the page features an article
he wrote for the Guardian:
http://www.monbiot.com/archives/2009/11/23/the-knights-carbonic/
Take a look for yourself, it was published on the 23rd November
2009. The serious question that people such as the Guardian who employ him as
a journalist aught to ask is whether this man is playing the game with a full
deck?
He probably has a wide readership, but for what he would
consider to be the wrong reason.
A source of amusement.
Christmas 2009
North America suffering unprecedented snow blizzards, most of
Europe affected.
Oh Dear
December 27th 2009
Email sent to ****
Hi ****
Just a warning, Tuesday may
have to be cancelled.
Very heavy snow forecast for
midlands and heavy rain for Bath. If the met office has their computer models
running 2 degrees too high due to the global warming crap they put into the
system, the heavy rain could actually be heavy snow. I had to come back from
high peak today early.
I will wait and see. What
time you will be up on Tuesday morning, if it’s early I could ring you if I
can’t get out of my drive.

Monday Night, Heavy Snow
I read
their tealeaves!
Some other thoughts:
Is there a conspiracy of some kind behind this,
NO. Basically,
since the theory of CO2 influencing out climate first evolved, it has
continuously gained momentum, basically, its generated this itself. It is a
fact that we have been subjected to a whole series of scares ranging from
salmonella eggs through AIDS and bird flue to the latest swine flue 'imminent
pandemic' where about 300 people have died compared to the 3000 who usually
die from normal flue at this time of year. I have no doubt that people are
making a lot of money out of all this.
The thing about the theory of CO2 driven climate
change is that a whole industry has sprung up around it with no one involved
wanting to see the end of the gravy train. Other considerations are that this
theory does actually do some good, such as new standards for home insulation
to mention just one.
Since the demise of the Soviet Union there has been no counter balance to
capitalism, as a result of this we had the Enron business, and later the
banking crisis. Many may well see the theory as the only restraint that is left
to control runaway capitalism and the excesses of mankind. The only problem is
a lie even a 'noble lie' eventually will fail, and the longer it persists the
more it will bring down with it.
Alice in Wonderland?
From BBC website:
Carbon prices in Europe dropped to a six-month low
after agreements made at the Copenhagen climate summit to cut emissions
disappointed traders.
The accord signed by the US, China and emerging major economies is
weaker than a legally binding agreement.
Because of this the European Union says it is not willing to raise its
carbon cutting target to 30% by 2020.
In early market trading, EU allowances for December 2010 delivery,
dropped 8.7% to €12.40 a tonne.
Time to get your money out and out it into some other growth non industry
such as Health and Safety or Race Relations?
January 4th 2010
Yes, I have this to a fine art now, so pay attention.
Met Office forecast mid Wales over Sunday night was minimum temperature of
-9 centigrade. Adjust for bogus CO2 driven global warming in their computers
and look:
"The lowest temperature recorded on Sunday night was -14.0C in Eskdalemuir,
south west Scotland, while the mercury dipped to -12.6C in Sennybridge in mid
Wales. " (source BBC)
My system is Met office forecast less 2 degrees, to adjust for their error.
This can make the difference between rain and snow so is an important
influence.
I will be posting more on this as time goes by.
5th January 2010
Total chaos, country coming to a standstill with ice and snow.
Just been given this link, its worth seeing trust me.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E3zkMtOv3Yg
I have just been following some of the other similar links on youtube, I
recommend that whoever reads this does the same. It appears that there is "climategate"
scandal blowing up in the USA. The war is about to hot up.
6th January 2010
Just gone into 'climategate' a little deeper, it seems that NASA have been
up to the same tricks as our Climatic Research Unit. Many are calling for an
inquiry.
Last night news showed trains buried in snowdrifts in China, cold damp
weather in India of places, plus some footage from Europe. So its not just
here, its everywhere over the world.
There is an old Chinese proverb:
"May you live in interesting times"
8th January 2010
I have just posted on the mine-explorer website on this, and cannot deprive
my readers of what I said. The last bit is a bit, well, humorous. The
thing about CO2 pushers equally applies to political correctness pushers, they
have absolutely no sense of humour. They are welcome to their grey featureless
world and can rot in it for me. Anyway, here is the posting:
I didn't want to get drawn in, because there are more
fallings out over politics and religion than anything else, and I have no
doubt that CO2 and climate change have become the new age religion of the 20th
century.
Consider this.
Every religion from the beginnings of time including the
‘graven images’ thing has had the essential ingredients of sin, atonement and
guilt.
Modern technology gives us many modern comforts, and with
it the instinctive need to feel guilty in some way.
And the need to be ‘punished in some way. Take 50
‘lashes’/ ‘Hail Mary’s’/Speed Bumps or whatever.
Add the demonisation of popular demons, such as oil
companies and Hey Presto, you have the sexiest, most appealing religion you
can think of.
Problem is, its all bollocks.
Its has taken scientific facts and twisted it into an
unrecognisable form, but here are a few anyway, and see if it supports this
crackpot theory.
#1 CO2 is a naturally occurring gas, its what we breathe
out when we exhale, and is also produced naturally by decomposing vegetable
matter. The biggest natural producer is rain forests.
#2 It is essential in our atmosphere. Plants and all
green things need this as a food gas to photosynthesise it into carbon and
oxygen, the carbon is used for growth for the plant, and oxygen which is put
out for the benefit of the animal kingdom, so green things are essential for
animal life to survive on this planet.
#3 The percentage of CO2 in the atmosphere is very
slight, about 0.046%
#4 The production of greenhouse gasses are conductive to
global warming, but CO2 is a HEAVY gas, as well know all too well.
#5 FACT. Climate change has been going on for 120,000
years, we went through an ice age and also a post mediaeval warm period. Coal
was formed when primeval rain forests became buried as the climate of our
earth changed. These are all facts that can not be altered.
These 5 are off the top of my head, I am not a
scientist, and the Daily Express recently published 100 that had been prepared
by a real scientist.
So desperate are the pushers of this idea that they are
not only changing scientific data to suit their purpose but threatening people
who disagree with them. The Institute of Climate Studies at East Anglia
University recently had their emails hacked. Basically they use something that
they call “the trick” to alter data, another email threatens to “smash the
head in” of an American scientist who disagrees with them.
Those who are sceptical are referred to a “denialist” a
clears attempt to align them with holocaust deniers, or even “heretic”, a
label which I take pride in wearing.
Film footage has been shown on TV attempting to appeal
to peoples emotions, dying seals and stranded polar bears. Typical was a
picture of a polar bear ‘stranded’ on a piece of ice because of the melting
glaziers.
Err, polar bears can swim, but if it supports the CO2
theory they would make out that fish could not swim.
The picture was actually 2.5 years old and taken by a
lady who gave it to somebody and was passed around until it fell into the
hands of Al Gore, who not slow see an opportunity used it.
The lady who took it is very upset, there are interviews
on the web with here and there was plenty of ice as that was exactly what she
was standing on when she took the picture of bear, about 20 yards away.
Anyway, that’s the end of my rant, well not quite.
Al Gore has a habit of asking people questions, in
particular mild mannered scientists from the opposite camp, but then over
talks them and attempts to answer the question for them that he has just asked
while the cameras roll.
Well if he ever talks to me and employs the same
technique, I will have my own unique RF way of keeping him quite while I
answer his question.
I will simply put my fist in his mouth.

As linked on my homepage
There is even more.
This was my follow up:
Well into the lager but just got to share this one, what
an idea.
Take the “I’m a celebrity” jungle, get Al Gore and Tony
Blair, give them both Uzis and plenty of 9mm, and get them to hunt each other
down.
Winner gets a pardon from the people, looser gets a
state funeral.
MORE TO COME, WATCH THIS SPACE
January 13 2010
Met office forecast drizzle, what we get is snow.
Remember my 2 degree 'adjustment'
On a more serious note, a major earthquake in Haiti.
Scientists, err real scientists have reckoned for some
time that earthquakes can be triggered by sun spots or solar activity.
Food for thought
More food for thought. Refer back to my lager inspired
joke re Al Gore and Blair.
Blair took us to war on the back of spin and lies. Just
exactly what was the deal he struck with Bush?
If something comes out in the inquiry into the Iraq war,
I reserve the right to say "I told you so"
OK, its on this record on this website January 13 2010
and there will be more to come, unless I get run over by a truck driven by a
"Mr X"
I stand by what I say and am happy to be put on the
record as saying this, lets just put our politicians and 'scientists' on the
same level.
They both think that ordinary people are stupid. I so NO
People are not as stupid as these assholes think they
are, and when the truth comes out, lets go looking for them!!!
We have had the 'expenses' scandal, I think that there is
another one coming up.
On a lighter side:
"Thousands gather for global warming protest"

Cant say that I blame them in the circumstances.
On the serious side: From a chain email
Irena
Sendler

There recently was a death of a 98 year-old
lady named Irena. During WWII, Irena, got permission to work in the Warsaw
Ghetto, as a Plumbing/Sewer specialist. She had an 'ulterior
motive' ... She KNEW what the Nazi's plans were for the Jews, (being
German.) Irena smuggled infants out in the bottom of the tool box she
carried and she carried in the back of her truck a burlap sack, (for
larger kids..) She also had a dog in the back that she trained to bark
when the Nazi soldiers let her in and out of the ghetto. The soldiers of
course wanted nothing to do with the dog and the barking covered the
kids/infants noises.. During her time of doing this, she managed to
smuggle out and save 2500 kids/infants. She was caught, and the Nazi's
broke both her legs, arms and beat her severely. Irena kept a record of
the names of all the kids she smuggled out and kept them in a glass jar,
buried under a tree in her back yard. After the war, she tried to locate
any parents that may have survived it and reunited the family. Most had
been gassed. Those kids she helped got placed into foster family homes or
adopted.
Last year Irena was up for the Nobel Peace
Prize ... She was not selected.
Al Gore won, for a slide show on Global Warming.
If I ever get a chance
to do it all over again, Gore is a man I would like to do it all over
Jan 19 2010
Things are moving fast, just as I
predicted: "The vice-chairman of the
UN's climate science panel admits that it made a mistake in asserting
that Himalayan glaciers could disappear by 2035."
Yes, and here is the
link to the BBC website:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/8468358.stm
It seems to me that this s sign of the
times whereby people appear to be incapable of just publishing facts and
data but perceive the need to 'sex up' everything to the point were it
bears no relationship to the original, remember "ready in 45 minutes".
In so doing there is the real risk that
scientists and politicians will loose all credibility, something to
think about.
February 1 2010
My weekend has been turned upside down by
heavy snow in Wales that was not forecasted, 11.00 Sunday Bettws -y-Coed
high street under inches of snow, I decided to go home while I could.
According to the news large areas of
Germany under snow and ice, so its not just us that are getting it.
BBC news has interesting article that
included a quote from Solitaire Townsend, co-founder of the firm
Futerra, a firm that specialises in green public relations.
"For
some, this appropriation of religious language and themes reveals the
extent to which climate change is, for a section of the green movement,
part of a much wider agenda for radical social change.
"Scratch
the surface of a lot of greens and you find quite a lot of anger about
the way people are," says Solitaire Townsend. "There's a lot of passion
to do more than just reduce carbon levels.
"There's always been a part of the environmental movement
that has wanted to change who people are, and change society," she
argues. "Some greens want to change our relationship with nature and get
us interested in consciousness rather than consumption. These are very
philosophical messages."
But the
missionary zeal of such campaigners is often disguised by their use of
science to support their agenda."
It seems to me that we are
about to find out what its all REALLY about
February 4 2010
The Empire Strikes Back
David Parker a Met Office
research scientist hits back at the sceptics with a statement that in
some parts of the world January was warmer than usual and comes up with
the load of total tosh this it was only Britain that suffered the cold.
err, David, didn't you see
the satellite pictures that showed all of the northern hemisphere under
ice?
Off the BBC website:
January was rather cold in the UK. But across the whole of the
world, January was warmer than usual. Why?
The article then goes on to contradict itself. Like I said before, do
they really think ordinary people are this stupid.
Here is another quote from Gavin Schmidt, a climate scientist at Nasa's
Goddard Institute for Space Studies.
"It is conceivable January will come out very warm," says Dr
Schmidt. "The reason why it was warm is mainly because of the El Nino in
the Pacific chugging along for about three or four months."
El Nino, which happens every few years, sees a warming of the
waters of the equatorial Pacific Ocean, and has far-reaching impacts on
the weather worldwide"
I don't think it conceivable that January will come out very warm at
all, but then I am not getting anything out of this.
An alternative view I readily agree that
people have just got to be brought out of their wasteful energy wasting
lifestyles. People who complain about not having enough money think
nothing about leaving a television on for ever although no is actually
watching it. We go out and buy, and what we don't use, we throw away.
But its no good trying to change peoples lifestyles on the back of junk
science. Its like putting up a building with no foundations, it gets
taller and taller and then eventually collapses like a pack of cards.
The more it grows, the bigger the crash when it all falls down. The
CO2 driven climate change theory is true to so many people because they
desperately WANT it to be true. February 8 1010
Last Fridays evenings BBC news revealed that in a survey conducted by
the BBC now only 26% of people interviewed believe that climate change
is happening and it is man made. Oh Dear In the meantime, the cold
weather is being blamed once again on El Nino effect. Wasn't this
supposed to end in January 2009, hence the Met office forecast of a
"barbecue summer"? Maybe is El Nino II, or son of El Nino, or El Nino:
The Resurrection. From Simon Hoggart of the Guardian, sat Feb 6th:
As a climate change agnostic – and I suspect most of us are,
especially now, and more especially after the Guardian series this week
– I've been bothered by two aspects of the argument. The first is the
religious overtone. Humankind has always wanted to blame its own
behaviour for natural events, whether Noah's flood, plagues of frogs, or
volcanoes which demonstrate that the gods are angry.
Three years ago a British bishop announced that gay marriage had
caused our floods. I've often wondered whether global warming is another
example of this, an irrational belief designed for a rationalist world.
And there is an element of religious faith in the true believers.
Those who disagree are "deniers", with its echo of fanatics who don't
believe in the Holocaust. Years ago I saw a sceptic howled down at a
British Association meeting; scientists shouldn't behave like that. If
people disagree with you they might not be morally wrong, or agents of
Satan. (Or big oil, as the believers often claim.) This ties in with my
second worry. Clearly many believers have played fast and loose with the
data: since what they believe is true beyond doubt, they have a right –
no, a moral duty – to suppress any evidence that might contradict them.
Years ago I co-wrote a book, Bizarre Beliefs, about various crazy
things people believe in, such as astrology, the Bermuda Triangle and
spiritualism. Most of them generated vast amounts of data from which
believers simply cherry-picked whatever suited their case. The world's
climate produces millions upon millions of facts and figures, and it's
very easy to select the ones that suit you and ignore all the rest.
Of course I don't know who's right. But I'm not surprised to see
the true believers struggling.
I find this an excellent summary. One does sometimes wonder exactly
what planet these people are living on, here is my quote of the week
from German Socialist deputy Jo Leinena at a recent parliamentary
hearing on climate change: "eating less meat could play a
"significant" role in helping combat CO2 emissions" Well yes Jo,
changing to the blue pills from the red ones may help as well.
February 15 2010 Another 'quote of the week'
Professor Phil
Jones, who is at the centre of the “Climategate” affair, conceded that
"there has been no “statistically significant” rise in temperatures
since 1995."
And here is a
letter to the Daily Express from Dr Piers Corbin, head of Weather
Action.
This has been a hard fight for those of us who have
been vilified for years for standing up for evidence based science and
accountability in all science and public policies.
The Global Warmers are now re-branding themselves as fast as you can
say "Let It snow" but the politicians - and that is ALL the parties -
might take a little longer.
We shouldn't let any of them - fraudulent scientists, politicians or
fellow travellers - get away with anything. It is up to the public to
push forward for truth and accountability as never before. The bankers
got away with billions, we cannot allow another robbery of the world
public in the name of saving the planet. That would be too much.
1. All fraudster scientists must be sacked and put on trial where
appropriate.
2. the IPCC must be closed down and its leadership put on trial.
3. Instead of shovelling money into the fraudulent IPCC and all the
insane policies which follow from it resources of the UN should be
used to better predict (without CO2!!) and prepare for all natural
disasters from floods and hurricanes to earthquakes.
Your readers who follow WeatherAction forecasts know a lot can be done
but it has been ignored by politicians all over the world because they
prefer to back the tax raising scam of 'Global Warming'.
4. Carbon trading and all CO2 reduction schemes such as wind-farms and
'carbon fixing' must be stopped immediately.
5. All political parties must review their 'Green policies'
immediately. We say to them WE WILL NOT VOTE FOR ANY POLITICIAN
WHATEVER PARTY WHO SUPPORTS GLOBAL WARMING & CO2 REDUCTION SCAMS AND
TAXES.
6. Don't shop anywhere which urges you to spend money in the name of
'saving the planet' or combating climate change.
7. We do support genuine honest green policies to preserve wildlife
and biodiversity, reduce waste and reduce real chemical and smoke
pollution. I suggest the Express helps sort out the honest green
policies from the fraudulent trash.
Piers Corbyn, astrophysicist of WeatherAction long range weather &
climate forecasters
And Roy Says:
Yes!!!!
I have to agree with what Dr
Piers says here, people need to be brought to book for this. The
burning question though is WHY have they done this?Is it for money,
research grants, politics, or what. The people deserve answers and
justice. Heads will have to roll over this one. A
further thought I can see a major whistleblower
coming out of the closet from the CO2 camp. Why?
Somewhere from deep within a major player will see the end of the
gravy train in sight and with newspapers like the Express willing to
pay good money for someone's inside story there is a big opportunity
for someone to bale out with a golden parachute and probably recover
their person reputation at the the same time.
February 18 2010
There are calls for the pushers and the sceptics to come together and
find common ground. Its not rocket science to see where this is
leading, basically the pushers are about to 'water down' their
predictions of disaster and do a lot of back peddling, to save face
and the CO2 theory itself.
I STILL SAY TAKE NO PRISONERS!
If I came up with a scientific theory about anything, the onus would
be on me to prove it, not on others to disprove it. Yet a large
section of the scientific community has taken this on board with what
only can be described as a religious fervour.
What's worse they have ridiculed, personally attacked, and denigrated
all who disagreed with them. People make their beds then have to lie
on them.
It is a fact that mans activities affect the environment. Emissions of
sulphur dioxide have caused acid rain, rivers have been polluted, and
the burning of coal years ago caused smog's that took thousands of
human lives.
But CO2, NO WAY. Its a completely natural occurring essential plant
food gas. We have all been taken for a ride with what will eventually
turn out to be the biggest fraud of all time. NO PRISONERS
Something I missed in January
Try this link:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/8483722.stm
A report for the IPCC includes reference to the fact that:
"The oceans are the world's great store of CO2, but the warmer they
become, the less CO2 they can absorb. And forests dried out by
increased temperatures tend to decay and release CO2 from their trees
and soils."
It is interesting to bear this in mind next time you see Al Gores CO2
graph that he stands pontificating on in his "Unacceptable Truth"
video. Yes CO2 levels do increase as temperature increases, because of
what is explained above. So its the temperature driving the CO2 NOT
the other way round.
One of the things that fascinates me about all this is that if you
take to trouble to read everything that comes out from the 'hockey
club' you will see them constantly contradicting each other.
March 30 2010
Professor James Lovelock makes some interesting comment that well
worth reading.
"the earth's climate will not conveniently comply with the models
of modern climate scientists.
As the record winter cold testifies, global temperatures move in
"jerks and jumps", and we cannot confidently predict what the future
holds."
Prof Lovelock does not pull his punches on the politicians and
scientists who are set to gain from the idea that we can predict
climate change and save the planet ourselves.
Scientists, he says, "have moved from investigating nature as a
vocation, to being caught in a career path where it makes sense to
"fudge the data". "
Here is the BBC link:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/today/hi/today/newsid_8594000/8594561.stm
And more The Gulf Stream does not appear to be slowing
down, say US scientists who have used satellites to monitor tell-tale
changes in the height of the sea.
Confirming work by other scientists using different methodologies,
they found dramatic short-term variability but no longer-term trend.
A slow-down - dramatised in the movie The Day After Tomorrow - is
projected by some models of climate change.
The research is published in the journal Geophysical Research
Letters.
The stream is a key process in the climate of western Europe,
bringing heat northwards from the tropics and keeping countries such
as the UK 4-6C warmer than they would otherwise be.

The 'climategate' inquiry has concluded that that there was no
scientific malpractice at the climate research unit, so they are off
the hook.
It is of course pure coincidence that the chairman of the inquiry
panel Lord Oxburgh is currently president of the Carbon Capture and
Storage Association and chairman of wind energy firm Falck Renewables.

"The UK and continental Europe could be gripped by more frequent
cold winters in the future as a result of low solar activity, say
researchers."
So logically, solar activity could be responsible for global
warming,........yes?

The current volcanic eruption going on in Iceland, since it first
started spewing volcanic ash recently, has, to this point, NEGATED
EVERY SINGLE EFFORT you have made in the past five years to control
CO2 emissions on our planet. Not only that, this single act of nature
has added emissions to the earth estimated to be 42 times more than
can be corrected by the extreme human regulations proposed for annual
reductions.
We shall have to see
what this causes to happen then wont we, planet meltdown?
Don't hold your breath.

My home was a little
paradise of exotic plants and koi carp, WAS.
The fall in temperatures
have killed expensive New Zealand Ferns and most of my Palm Trees.
A few weeks ago I lost 2
of my carp, and one of my best looks iffy. They don't know what season
it is.
If someone ,mentions
"global warming" I will strangle them.

A high-level inquiry into the
Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change found there was “little
evidence” for its claims about global warming.
It also said the panel had
emphasised the negative impacts of climate change and made
“substantive findings” based on little proof.
The review by the InterAcademy
Council (IAC) was launched after the IPCC’s hugely embarrassing 2007
benchmark climate change report, which contained exaggerated and false
claims that Himalayan glaciers could melt by 2035.
The panel was forced to admit its
key claim in support of global warming was lifted from a 1999 magazine
article. The report was based on an interview with a little-known
Indian scientist who has since said his views were “speculation” and
not backed by research.
Independent climate scientist
Peter Taylor said last night: “The IPCC’s credibility has been deeply
dented and something has to be done. It can’t just be a matter of
adjusting the practices. They have got to look at what are the
consequences of having got it wrong in terms of what the public think
is going on. Admitting that it needs to reform means something has
gone wrong and they really do need to look at the science.”

The guy who runs the IPCC has a
PHD in economics (his only qualification) which qualifies him
for his job admirably. However now he aught to resign and go back to
working on the railways as he did before he got on the gravy chain.
STOCK TAKE
This commentary started in 2007
as the reader can see, nothing has been altered in any way or edited
at a later date. As early as 2005 I was predicting a turn around in
our climate whereby summers would become cooler and winters colder, I
was laughed at by some people.
Look back to what I posted in
December 2009, look at the Met Office's prediction for this summer:
"Next year could be the warmest year on
record, the Met Office said as officials at UN talks in Copenhagen continued
negotiations in a bid to secure a new deal to tackle climate change.
Well I said I would throw this sh*t
back in their faces, so here it comes dudes.
On a serious note I think what is
needed here is an international inquiry by people who are beyond
reproach, such as senior judges, with a remit to look at all the
respective arguments, the credentials and BACKGROUNDS of the people
making them.
