This trip was Sunday morning, and was to the upper adit.
The deep adit was shared with Wheal Gawton and was blown in when the mine was
abandoned. Great pity!

Entering the mine there is a fine section of hand picked level that
must predate the main period of working.

A branch to the left takes one to the area that undercuts areas of stoping. A
ladderway leads up, Dave Seabourne investigates.
