  Credit Toolbox  

This is a spin off from the Finance House application. It can be used to:

 #1 Check the APR on fixed term loans either payable by instalments or in a lump sum

#2 Test running account credit on the basis of the 2004 regulations

 #3 Get the approximate APR from a months credit card statement entries

 #4 Using the Instalment Calculator as in Finance House, it can return instalment figures for various types of loan payable by instalments plus APR. Also does PPP instalments plus a few other things.

Clicking the "APR" button will produce a screen that returns the APR on both the main agreement details and the split items. See?

Below is the screen used to get approx APR from a Credit Card statement. You have to populate the screen with figures for it to work, it will then return the APR accurate to within 1 decimal place or better. Both pictures are of the same screen, second is scrolled down so that it makes sense to the viewer
